Ranga Rao Memorial School for Differently Abled (RMSD) recently organized a “Thanksgiving Program” to express heartfelt appreciation to Rotary Brindavana School, Mysuru, for their continuous support in providing exam scribes for our SSLC students over the past seven years.
The event was graced by Mr. Prakash Hansoge, President of Rotary Brindavana School, Mr. Guru R., Chairman of RMSD, and Mr. R.N. Murthy, Vice President. We are deeply grateful to the 9th Standard students of Rotary Brindavana School who have consistently volunteered as scribes for language examinations in Hindi, Kannada, and English. Their dedication has been instrumental in supporting and empowering our students. They were given mementos.
With the growing reliance on scribes and advancements in assistive technologies, the contribution of such volunteers has become more impactful than ever.
As part of the program, Mrs. Jannavi Murthy distributed certificates to five low-vision students who successfully completed the Basic Tailoring Course, a skill development initiative that complements their academic progress. At RMSD, we remain committed to equipping our low-vision students with essential life skills, including training in basic tailoring, until the completion of their SSLC.
We sincerely thank all volunteers, educators, and supporters for their invaluable role in fostering confidence, independence, and dignity among our students.
