Teacher’s Day 2026 at Rangarao Memorial School for Disabled (RMSD) was more than a celebration. It was a moment to recognise the people who dedicate themselves to making education a pathway to confidence, dignity and self-reliance.
At RMSD, a committed team of teaching staff, non-teaching staff and volunteers works with one shared purpose — to empower visually impaired girls through education and help them move towards greater independence and self-reliance.
The celebration was honoured by the presence of Sri Prashanth M. N., Faculty (Decentralization and Panchayath Raj), State Institute of Rural Development (SIRD), Mysuru, who shared valuable thoughts on education, empowerment and the profound role teachers play in shaping lives.
The programme was presided over by Sri R. Guru, Chairman, who appreciated the dedication of the entire RMSD team and acknowledged their continued efforts in creating meaningful opportunities for visually impaired students.
His words reinforced an important truth — education is not merely about academic learning. It is about building confidence, nurturing dignity and enabling every individual to move towards an independent life.
A token of appreciation from the Management Board added a meaningful touch to the occasion, recognising the tireless efforts of those who contribute every day, both within and beyond the classroom.
