A Day of Exploration, Courage, and Smiles

Ranga Rao Memorial School for Differently Abled (RMSD) organized an enriching educational tour on Saturday, 13 December 2025, offering students a meaningful blend of devotional, cultural, and adventurous experiences.

The journey began with seeking divine blessings at the Kengal Anjaneya Swamy Temple, followed by a vibrant cultural immersion at Janapada Loka. A key highlight of the day was the adventurous visit to Sri Ramadevara Betta, where the children showcased remarkable confidence and courage while exploring new heights. During the visit, the group was also served Ramaprasada (lunch), graciously arranged by Sri Rama Trust at Sri Ramadevara Betta, providing a moment to pause, reflect, and rejuvenate.

The experience concluded with a visit to the Sahasa Kala Academy, Ramanagara — run under Khelo India by Padma Shri awardee Dr. Hasana Ragu — where students were inspired by demonstrations of traditional Indian physical arts such as Mallakhamba and Rope Yogasana, reflecting India’s rich cultural heritage. Our students participated with great enthusiasm and confidence. Ms. Suvarna, an RMSD SSLC student, joyfully attempted Mallakhamba, experiencing a strong sense of achievement, while Ms. Gayathri, also an RMSD SSLC student, confidently tried Rope Yogasana, further strengthening her self-belief and courage. The day was further enriched by a vibrant Dollu Kunitha performance at the Kendra.

A total of 75 students and 18 staff members participated in this memorable journey, making it a day filled with learning, joy, and unforgettable moments.

An experience that nurtured faith, culture, confidence, and lifelong memories.
