Sometimes, the most inspiring heroes are the ones who once sat in the exact same chairs as you.
This International Women’s Day, the Ranga Rao Memorial School for Differently Abled (RMSD) felt less like a school and more like a big family reunion. We hosted a special Alumni Meet, and the energy in the room was simply unforgettable.
The absolute highlight? Welcoming back our very own Rani. Once a student walking these very halls, she returned this year as our Chief Guest. Hearing her share her deeply personal journey of grit, self-reliance, and courage left scarcely a dry eye in the room. She was living proof to every current student that their biggest dreams are entirely within reach.
The warmth started from the very first moment—our students welcomed guests with gorgeous, eco-friendly flowers they lovingly hand-crafted themselves. Such a beautiful, personal touch that perfectly captured the spirit of the day!
Another proud moment of the celebration was the distribution of certificates to our Low Vision SSLC students who successfully completed their tailoring course. With their newly learned skills, these students are now able to stitch their own garments and small clothing items independently—a wonderful step towards self-reliance and confidence.
With the Chairman and members of the Ranga family joining in to celebrate and support us, the day was filled with beautiful moments. Watching past and present students swap stories, laugh, and dream together was the perfect reminder of why this community matters so much.
Here’s to strong women, to the communities that uplift them, and to every single journey that inspires the next.
