Celebrating Freedom, Achievement & the Limitless Potential of Every Student
A day filled with patriotism, pride, achievement, and inspiration unfolded at Ranga Rao Memorial School for Differently Abled (RMSD) as we came together to celebrate India’s 80th Independence Day.
The celebrations began with the flag hoisting by Chief Guest Sri Suresh M.R., Chief Operating Officer, NRRSPL, in the presence of Smt. Jhanavi Murthy, who presided over the programme.
Our students took centre stage with confidence and enthusiasm. Ms. Monika (10th Std.) extended the welcome, Ms. Shalini (10th Std.) spoke on the significance of Independence Day, Ms. Dikshitha (10th Std.) anchored the programme, and Ms. Suchithra (10th Std.) delivered the vote of thanks.
The atmosphere came alive with a spirited March Past, a rhythmic band performance, and an impressive display of eight different group pyramids by our students. A soulful patriotic group song added to the pride and emotion of the occasion.
The day also brought moments of immense pride as we celebrated academic excellence and perseverance. Ms. Manasa, last year’s SSLC topper with an outstanding 98%, was honoured for her achievement. Our alumni Mrs. Deepu, PUC topper with 78%, and Ms. Nithya M.C., BA topper with 88%, were also felicitated for their accomplishments.
The inspiring words of Chief Guest Sri Suresh M.R. and the Presidential Address by Smt. Jhanavi Murthy added meaning to the occasion, reminding us that true independence is nurtured through education, confidence, responsibility, and the courage to pursue our dreams.
As the national flag soared proudly above RMSD, so did the aspirations of our students.
A beautiful reminder that every child has the power to learn, achieve, inspire, and create their own path towards a brighter tomorrow.
